IVANKA TRUMP made the journey from Saudi Arabia to Israel with father US President Donald Trump today and wore an outfit very different to any she’s been pictured in recently.

Ivanka Trump: Was the First Daughter wearing traditional Jewish dress? The 35-year-old was pictured next to husband Jared Kushner as the took part in a welcome ceremony upon her father Donald’s arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv.

Ivanka co-ordinated her outfit with Jared’s, wearing black and navy, but her style wasn’t as fashion-forward as it’s appeared in the past.

She wore a black lace top with long sleeves and a navy sash across the front, along with a long pleated navy skirt.

She accessorised with black sunglasses and a navy-coloured head piece which lay flat to her head.

The simple classic lines for my chapeau. Perhaps one feather rather than the entire bird and nest. :-) Nora (of Nick and Nora Charles fame) wore some good looking hats. Not every time; she occasionally shocked even drunken Nick. A simple band on the crown (ribbon, small chain link or similar. AND, certainly, No Fruit LOL During the summer one must ABSOLUTELY wear a hat here. Sometimes it may be nothing more than a ball cap which does shade the face a little. Better would be the large straw brims to protect the ears and back of your neck Those pioneer women who traveled west on the wagon trains...they may have worn nothing but homemade bonnets but those seemed to work for them. No, hats are not required of women at the Kotel. Traditional married women do cover their heads in public, including, of course, the Kotel. Females are, however, requested to cover their shoulders at the Kotel.
