Go look for yourself. The Kamov is a vertical ejector - blows the rotor disc, waits a second, blows the canopy and then ejects the crew.
Sorry. I meant it as they figured out to get the rotor away from the scene prior to the crew expelling. This is a good thing as sending them through the blade would be a real special effect for a slasher movie.
Kind of like the film they didn’t show for the death of actor Vic Morrow. The helicopter being used for the scene was hovering at about 24 feet above him when pyrotechnic explosions damaged it and caused it to crash on top of him, killing him instantly. Morrow was decapitated by the helicopter rotor.

It is graphic but the actual strike was either taken out of the film or just wasn’t seen due to the pyrotechnics. It still is a little graphic.
