One open question is whether it has the safe-crew-ejection features from the not-unrelated Eurocopter Tiger, which is a proven tech that the US doesn’t have on any helicopter currently in service.
In 1966, I was “lucky” enough to spiral in in a goonie. Kinda walked away from it, as fast as I could. Let’s face it, there is no way to protect troops on a military helicopter. If it is going down, the pilot has a really limited amount of things to do, basically kind of throw it in a direction and hope it’s soft. This theory is a lot like bull riding. You are going to hit the ground, hopefully not on something on your person that will break.
