A teenager helped snare the man who tried to rape her after she managed to record the brutal assault on her mobile phone.

Student Lillian Constantine, 18, can be heard screaming and pleading with her attacker on the two-minute 47-second clip, recorded on her Samsung as she walked home in Ramsgate, Kent.

It is thought to be the first time ever that a victim's own footage of an entire attack has helped put a rapist behind bars.

In full liberal reaction, the way we are all accustomed to, the people in this article are shocked there weren't enough lights. If only the victim had more light, she could have taken better video of the attack. I'm not kidding:

"'If the lights had been on then I would have had loads of footage of him and it would have been easier for the police. "

At least the judge has a tiny bit of sense:

"He added that he would be recommending Miah - who had been living illegally in Britain for ten years - for deportation at the end of his sentence, telling him 'You are highly dangerous... you have no business being here.' "

It's a shame people are so castrated, they can't go the next step and say-- there is no reason to have any of them there. Or here. Why do we need a single person from a 4th-world country? I have no problem with, say, Bangladesh. But let them stay over there.

Lillian had to bag up her clothes and couldn't wash for a day as she awaited for an appointment at the sexual assault referral centre at Maidstone Hospital, almost 50 miles away.

Staff took hair clippings, fingernail samples, a swab and logged every cut and bruise. A DNA sample was obtained but no match was found on the DNA database.

Later, Lillian had to have dozens of blood tests, a pregnancy test and HIV prevention medication that left her bedbound for a month.

That wonderful socialized medicine system.

You know, how long have we been talking like this? Wish she had a gun to put a bullet in his head, which, by the way, I am all for— but the thing is, every year, millions more are here and there. Very rarely, once in a VERY blue moon, you hear about someone that was armed fight back, but 99.9% of the time, it’s just roll over and wait for the rape kit. I’m just done with this sh&*

Criminals have more rights than victims and it's been that way for far too long. I'm for bringing back public hangings, chain gangs, summary firing executions for any kind violent crime, identity theft, robbery and the like. The system is way too soft. Yesterday I got notified of an unauthorized address change from Lifelock and filed a dispute with Equifax. I checked my CC and saw no unauthorized charges. My regular mail seems to be working. I try to get very little and get tracking for anything I order. The CC issuer is the source of the problem. Somehow, even with a secondary password for calling in, every so often my address is slightly modified to reflect a ZIP a few miles away and a PO box instead of my UPS box. They are getting a letter with a request for a new number and change to my home address. If they balk, I'll pay the thing off and cut it up at the end of the month. CC's are evil anyway.

I would have blown it off after one posting - until I got challenged on it. Now I don’t mind firing away.

And it really is a pattern there. When you hear about some ‘education minister’ in Europe (especially Great Britain) defending something like the requirement that 8 year old boys demonstrate a minimum of 3 positions for sex before being allowed to start 3rd grade, you almost always - make that always, find a gray-haired women in her 40s with a smug look on her face...and you know, for certain, that she never had a child.

A knife is much easier than a gun in many situations. We need to encourage knives where appropriate - meaning almost everywhere. Even in the People’s Republic of Maryland, a folding pocket knife is by definition “not a weapon”. I (almost) always carry a pocket knife, and when I use it to open a package (so it will have glue residue of many kinds on it, indicating that it was a tool), I can draw it from my pocket, open it, and grip it with a useful grip in a single motion requiring less than a second.

I wish the victim had cut that predator’s throat, but I’m glad she was able to do as much as she did. I hope they follow through on deporting him, or perhaps that an ordinary decent criminal will solve the problem for his country.
