HUGE storms everywhere in Alabama starting yesterday around 3:00 PM. We had a small tornado or straight line mega wind come through. Trees down everywhere. The power poles arcoss from my place had trees falling into them. Live wires down on the highway, the police had to come block the road.

So, there I was in Fortress Babylon without electricity. Wondering if I needed to go out in the pouring rain and lightning and go through the laborious process of getting the generator out.

Kudos to Alabama Power! We got about 8 inches of rain—constant from 4:00 pm - midnight and these guys worked throughout the downpour cutting trees with chain saws, going up in buckets trucks in massive lightning and finally getting the job done. We had power back at midnight.

Slept like a baby instead of a hot, sweaty mess!

Can you send some of that weather southward? Drier than a popcorn fart down here! Hope you’re safe.
