Taibbi has an interesting background. He’s an unapologetic leftist, but he also lived in Russia for a while and has a pretty keen sense of the importance and the workings of U.S.-Russia diplomacy.
Taibbi’s Dad use to be a reporter for the local CBS news station in NYC. When I see the Taibbi name I always picture his Dad’s face.
