I am going to watch the end again. Still not sure they got the right target. It was a brilliant scene.
I thought the woman’s last comments to her husband were an admission that she was the person they were looking for. And Katie’s husband was sympathetic to her because of her age at the time, the obvious love for her husband, and the circumstances when the Nazi’s caught her. One of the great things about the scene was his inability to pull the trigger.
