Rove had a legitimate claim that Trump probably didn't fire Comey in the best of ways. Of course we may not know the entire story of all that yet either.
But for Rove to take that fopaw to the next level and claim that Trump now jeopardizes his new nominee to the FBI head and he will be forced to have a special investigator is a step way too far if you are supposedly on our side. Which we know Rove is not. He's a cabal all the way employee and as you say has always hated Trump. The President is his own man and cabal employess don't want that.
Trump is the biggest threat to everyone in DC in the last 50 years. Much more dangerous than Reagan who had insiders in his administration.
Wallace is the perfect example of DC nepotism and corruption.
Not if he wanted undisturbed access to Comey's office, computers and all the evidence contained therein....Well, I guess he could have waited until Comey had gotten off stage, after finishing his speech, but....
Whatever. He deserved it.
You are right. We don't know the rest of the story. Perhaps Trump knows a lot more about Comey and what he has been saying and doing to trash Trump. There was one report that had Comey calling Trump crazy when he tweeted about Obama administration "wiretapping" him. It turns out that Comey may have used the phony Steele dossier, a product of Dem operations research, to justify the FISA warrant last July.
Take a look at the 17 pages of Grassley letters to the FBI at this link. It is eyeopening.
Rove is part of the GOPe. They have a lot to lose if Trump is successful in draining the swamp.
Trump must simply say no on any special prosecutors. This would spell the end of any more agenda items being considered or passed.
It ruined Nixon’s plans, Reagan’s after Iran-Contra, Clinton, and W Bush (all efforts were diverted to keeping Rove out of jail).
They know this is the only way to slow or stop Trump.
Sessions has to pass the word as No. And Donald better not ever mention “tapes” again
