From my viewpoint, Herridge has consistently had some of the best sources and fact-based reporting.

If Comey was protecting potential criminals by withholding information, his sudden firing (he found out on tv at an event) may have robbed him of the chance to cover his tracks on the way out the door. Perhaps that’s why it was done that way. If he was withholding the information and got wind the ax was falling, he may have “lost” some pertinent info before it happened.

Right. The sudden firing was to keep him from scrubbing evidence. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t have operators still on the inside ready to help him
