rofl Trump was not in office last Christmas Eve!! He could not have fired Comey before the afternoon of January 20, 2017.

I happen to think this timing is perfect, coming just after Comey botched his testimony before Congress so that the FBI had to issue a memo correcting the testimony. Wait until a moment when everyone in DC has a bad taste of Comey and there will be less push-back, although some in the Democraps and Mediascum will always try to spin this as nefarious on Trump’s part.
