Emory University is keen to pay “100 percent of demonstrated financial need for undocumented students (with or without DACA) who are admitted as first-year, first-degree-seeking students,” according to an online description of coming fall program.

As The College Fix reports, the private Atlanta university has given the take care of illegals program the unwieldy name of “Need-Based Financial Aid Program for Undocumented Students, including Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) Students” and the information is all available on their website.

There’s money galore for illegals. “All Undocumented Students (with or without DACA) who are admitted as first-year, first-degree-seeking undergraduate students, who have graduated from a U.S. high school,

A new law passed by the Georgia legislature means Emory could lose all start support. Though they are a private institution they receive research grant funding from the state and significant funding for Hope scholar students that attend the institution.

You can be sure the faculty isn’t losing any salary in covering the costs of these students. And you can be equally certain that administrators and factotums in their bloated educational bureaucracy aren’t kicking in any of their bucks either.

So if their tuition and fees have any relationship to the actual costs required to educate those kids, somebody’s got to be providing those dollars - and that would be the suckers (mostly middle and upper class parents) who are stupid enough to pay sticker price so their kids can get a piece of parchment with the word “Emory” on it.

Citizens get the shaft again.

As do sincere foreign students who come here due to their excellence, spend vast amounts of money (especially compared to what they would pay back home) for the privilege, and they get to know that they spent their families' life savings while sitting next to someone who was given it all as a reward for ignoring every single rule, regulation, law, and requirement that the valid student followed, struggled with, and had to overcome.

Guess which student is most likely to become a productive mind for the future. Guess which student is more likely to give back to the school in the future. Guess which is more likely to follow our laws if they wish to immigrate here in the future or do business here in the future. And finally, guess which one is fervently protected and subsidized by the Left. Ahem.

I hope so, because I ma sick of these kind of businesses, schools, states etc helping people who have broken our laws, and will not go back to where they come form while Americans sleep under bridges, veterans are homeless, and even at Parris Island when my son went there they are not given toilet roll for their entire time.

Insane.

Honestly, is it any wonder male student enrollments are historically low at colleges and universities?

What sane logical person is going to willingly submit themselves to this insanity, and PAY for the “honor”? While probably getting a worthless degree on top of it unless they are in the sciences or engineering or computers. In which case they wouldn’t want to take this crap in the first place.

oh but the women flock to this garbage.

Like Obama attending college as a foreign student? Any kid with a Spanish surname could claim to be illegal and get the full ride.

Attention: Emory University contributors

Stop giving this “school” your money! What a farce. An aviation degree for what would have been a high school dropout.

“We arent...our enemies are...”

There are 22 million Americans who took a solemn oath to protect the Constitution against all enemies - foreign and domestic. I hope the traitors in our midst will start getting nervous soon, before this gets ugly.

Are only illegal immigrants eligible for this largesse? I turned down Emory Medical School because I couldn’t afford to go there.

I suspect one “defense” Emory and its defenders put up for this program is that “if a student is qualified for entrance, means to pay shouldn’t preclude them from attending.”

So, Hispanic high school students will benefit both from (a) lower entrance requirements and diversity enrollment pushes and (b) heightened money assistance.

Yes, someone is getting the shaft.
