Emmanuel Macron was elected president of France on Sunday with a business-friendly vision of European integration, defeating Marine Le Pen, a far-right nationalist who threatened to take France out of the European Union, early projections showed.
The centrist's emphatic victory, which also smashed the dominance of France’s mainstream parties, will bring huge relief to European allies who had feared another populist upheaval to follow Britain's vote to quit the EU and Donald Trump's election as U.S. president.
The 39-year-old former investment banker, who served for two years as economy minister but has never previously held elected office, will now become France's youngest leader since Napoleon with a promise to transcend outdated left-right divisions.

If the day comes where the US brings back the draft to send troops to France again, this time to save the French from Islam, I will hide my sons and pray for France to burn as well as any American politician who would endorse shedding American blood for that pack of simps, manginas, libtards, and cowards.
If I am not mistaken, it was the far right Vichy government that did that which bears similarities to the Le Pen politics.
This was the final nail in their country’s coffin.
Le Pen truly was their last chance to save their country through peaceful means.
Certiainly there aren't 20 years. There isn't even 6 or 8 until the next French election. But, we all know, this is past the point of a political solution. When these things turn, they turn quick.

I would like to see this investigated and find out what the heck is going on concerning voter fraud. There have been a lot of accusations thrown around but to date that is all we have is accusations.
For the integrity of the election process and the confidence of the average voter I truly believe this needs to be thoroughly investigated and the truth to be made public.
Any holes, security gaps or other means of manipulating the voting machines must be addressed.

Not to mention that Western civilization has a way of weakening these foreigners. We may look at the decadence of Europe, but Europeans seem to have greater resilience compared to the Muslim nations, which are tearing each other apart.
