I wanted to do a search on what the content of the budget agreement was between Congress that is all in the news today. I wanted specifics. So I went on Google, and then on Bing, and then finally on Duckduckgo.
What was so bothersome to me was that the top rated search items were all "Fake News". Nearly every single one. Yet the links to find the absolute content of the bill is located on pages 674 etc. Why is this so.
I ask the FR audience to try it yourself. Type in Trump and budget, and april. Then go through the results. It will look like this...
Huffington Post Salon Washington Post CNN NBC MSNBC CBS NY Times Fox
It's getting to be rather worrisome when you can't perform some basic searches without getting overwhelmed by fake news.
You think that’s bad, Google “Famous white men”. Now click on images tab.
It’s hard when almost everything has become fake news and an anti trump propaganda site
It’s not a budget, it’s a continuing resolution. Try that. Possibly dem talking points call it a budget so you get fake news sites that regurgitate the talking points
I'll second that.
Wonder about a court case? Learn to navigate the state and federal court systems' websites. I've actually hired a runner to get filings. Wonder about legislation, committees, hearings? Learn to navigate the legislative websites. Wonder about executive branch and administrative agencies? Navigate to them directly.
The function of search engines is to learn about YOU, and to manipulate your world view. Same with the press. Heck, same with the crap I write, I aim to manipulate the reader too.
UNREAL!
I use 'Start Page" and it's all "White men who married black women"...
So GOGGLED - SAME THING - all celebs, (and all current, hardly 'historical" - not ONE historical figure, like say, maybe George Washington or Paul Revere?
this is bizarre.
So is THIS how they'll control the Internet? Flood out REAL links?
I clicked on the News app on my Iphone. Now I get daily notices from the alphabet news sources...all MSM propaganda. And to think millions get the same..
I believe Google owns that now too -
Bing: first item after typing: text of continuing budget resolution, 2017.
http://appropriations.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=394665
thats a summary with a link to the full document at house.gov at the bottom of the summary.
During the election, CNN was pretty near a direct pipeline to DNC/Hillary campaign arguments. Today, the array of press outlets is fairly direct view of the daily effort to diminish Trump. He has few allies in places of power.
Top results at Bing and Google are sponsored. They are discernable, but only with some effort sometimes.
Bing pays you to use them. I just ordered a nice little thing at Amazon paid for by Bing.
I think of it in terms of Newton’s first law of motion: An object at rest tends to stay at rest (deepstate), and an object in motion tends to stay in motion: Trump.
We need to keep giving Trump energy to keep him in motion to overcome the inertia of the establishment...
It's more than controlling the internet, it is the same thing all Marxists do during "cultural revolutions"-- they destroy all the old records of history and replace them with new versions that fit their agenda. Since the internet is how people are being educated today, they are essentially elf imposed re-education camps. I ran across a whole list of these else where and some of them were just unbelievable, and the sheer number shows it is clearly an agenda.
My first clue would be that it is NOT a Trump budget in ANY regard. It is a CR required to get Obloviate’s final half-@$$ed budget to the end of the fiscal year. Trump’s FIRST budget does not come into view until September
