The company has quietly put out feelers for a possible new head of Fox News with the preference, say sources, that it be a woman.
The Murdochs may be preparing for a leadership change at Fox News. Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Rupert Murdoch and his sons James and Lachlan, CEO and co-chairman of Fox News parent 21st Century Fox, have quietly put out feelers for a new head of Fox News. And the preference, according to two sources familiar with the Murdochs thinking, is that the new leader be female.

I have a feeling MEGYN KELLY will be making the scene at FOX NEWS again.
If they think they really need a woman, they should go with Laura Ingraham, Michelle Malkin or Ann Coulter.
The non-liberal world can kiss FOX goodbye.
When they hired Maria Harfwit the writing was on the wall.
You always do well when you look at body parts or color to fill an important position.
I expected this move to push Bill Shine out ever since earlier this week. I saw Rupert Murdoch at lunch with Bill Shine, and thought, “So what?” Rupert has rapidly diminishing influence at Fox News. He has abdicated the throne for the most part, allowing his liberal sons to run rough shod over all the territory he fought so hard to win and hold for so long. Hannity would be smart to keep his options open as well.
How about Chelsea ....
If the Murdochs don't like it, she can ‘arkansas’ them...same as she had done for years, and she can also have James Carville drag a 20 dollar bill through trailer courts...
Oh yeah, I can see it all now...
Another one may be OPRAH. She is looking for gig to prop herself up to run for POTUS in 2020.
Fox News Channel circles the bowl.
Hannity does have his options open...wide open!!! Rupert Murdoch has let his moron sons destroy both FNC & FBN.....the only thing left is for the clock to run out!!!
I could care less about the Murdochs...they will have done themselves in, by their own hands!!! And....A new more powerful, more focused, “Conservative TV Cable Channel” will emerge, most successfully.
There are zillions of smart, talented, capable conservative folks out in the hustings...so fear not!!! And, yes the good guys and gals will still be holding sway!!!
The Murdochs will remain wealthy...but, not so much...dummies that they are!! Go Figure!!!
All the Conservative commentators will be hit with sex scandals with women lining up to say that were suggestively spoken to or made to feel uncomfortable by the fact that the men are male.
Dittos to that. The smirking and laughing Joker. They let her get away with anything she wants to say. A real America hater. Only a total idiot would have hired that sophomoric b*tch.
I think you are right. if this happens I will never turn to fox again I will treat them like CNN and MSNBC. fox is going to end up like ESPN as far as loosing its audience.
All of this has a familiar tone to it. Oh yea - I recall where I’ve seen it before. The movie “Titanic”
It’s going to suck if we lose Fox. Yes, it’s not what it was but we still have a significant presence. They know where thier bread is buttered but it may not matter because the liberal cause may be more important to Murdoch’s kids.
Rachel Maddow is also available...
Opportunity for a new Conservative Network Start-Up.
Out of the ashes...
Fox has taught those with a keen eye a couple of things. The first is that the right (and there are a ton of us!) yearn for unbiased news - the kind that is AWOL from the aptly named Lamestream News.
And the second is an age-old axiom, “To thineself be true”. If we are to ourselves and not living a lie we can be at peace with ourselves. Fox has become a sham - pretense at “fair and balanced” while moving steadily to the left. They are living a lie and it shows. Fortunately for all of us it won’t be for much longer.
