Deputies were called to Highlands High School early Wednesday morning after two women were attacked at the schools soccer field.
Neven Glen Butler, 18, of North Highlands, was arrested by Sacramento County homicide detectives on suspicion of murder and sexual assault in the killing on Wednesday morning of Fusako Petrus.
Butler was already in custody for allegedly assaulting another elderly woman the same day in Arden Arcade.
Petrus died early in the morning Wednesday as she walked on the track in North Highlands, as she had regularly done for decades. Both she and a 61-year-old friend were sexually assaulted and beaten by a stranger, authorities said.
After killing Petrus, the attacker fled, jumping over a fence on the perimeter of Highlands High School. A search failed to turn up any sign of him.
In the afternoon, about 12 miles away, deputies believe that Butler committed another attack . Deputies were called to the 2200 block of Northrup Avenue where investigators believe he allegedly assaulted a 92-year-old woman.

I agree. It’s always puzzled me that with inhuman, hideous murder like this cretin committed, why all of the elderly lady’s male family members aren’t extracting justice themselves. I know its against the norms of civilized society, but the action would fit the crime.
But women at 86 are often frail and may, unless they grew up with them, have no interest in guns or even the strength to carry them. What they need to do is be aware of their situation at all times and take no chances. Doors and windows must be locked at all times and if they go for a walk, make sure it is not in deserted areas. The more people walking, the less chance for trouble.
I have a friend who just loves to walk at twilight in deserted parks! She’s been lucky so far and yet she taunts me about my ‘cowardice.’ I say common sense. Common sense above all. It is how I’ve lived in NYC for 40 years without once being mugged or harmed.

Nobody uses the word anymore, but this is simply an evil person. Before we tried to use medical terms to excuse these acts, people believed in, and understood, evil.

Young men who rape elderly women have to be sick in the head. Theft is often involved, and may be a major motive in some cases.
Another factor is that there are many elderly white women who live alone in neighborhoods that have become predominantly black and few elderly black women living alone in neighborhoods that are predominantly white.

Just briefly checking around on the internet showed that at least in Great Britain, no study has ever been done on why men rape elderly women. Nada. And no interviews with the rapists, either. But reporters drag out the same old clichés about “power” from Susan (Pysch Class 101) Brownmiller without asking how did the guy get an erection in the first place.
Sorry to be gross but it’s a question. Sex starts in the brain. These people are unnatural and need to be put down.

Certainly there are other factors. But race hatred is the major factor with hundreds and hundreds of black on white sexual homicides of elderly women in the last 4 decades compared to one or two of the reverse.
When you have a hate ratio of 100 to 1 black on white it is not location or theft that is the major factor. It is race hatred that drives this ratio.

That is one very sick dude. Two old, defenseless women. I would about guarantee he has not one ounce of remorse or he wouldn’t have gone after the 2nd woman. In CA he’ll probably get 6 months probation.

How was that proven? What is the evidence? That line started to be spewed out by feminists in the 1970s and was never really challenged. I suspect it was concocted to absolve women of any possible blame by defense attorneys due to their dress or behavior.
