The elites usually say “It’s for the Children” as they work their scams. Now “it’s for the women.” How many female genital mutilations will this foundation prevent? How many pedophile marriages will it prevent? How many honor killings will be prevented? She doesn’t take on female issues that destroy women.

At the least, she needs to quit the White House, if she wants to run this Foundation.

She is an unpaid advisor to the president. Not sure if she is a government “employee” as employee is defined.

Unpaid or not, she holds an official position within the administration. She advises and influences the president. This may be a worthy endeavor but she can lead it or remain in her current job. She can't do both.

HilLIARy Clinton and the Clinton Foundation proved its OK

So you have no problems with Clinton's foundations or her soliciting support for it while she was holding a government position? Really?

It also makes it hard for Trump to go after Clinton when his own daughter is starting up a similar Foundation.

But I don’t believe he really plans to drain the swamp anymore.

That ship sailed last December.

“...attendees at his rally chanted “lock her up.”

After the chants started at the President-elect’s post-election “thank you” rally in Michigan, he responded, “That plays great before the election — now we don’t care, right?”

1. Help men, not just women.

2. Help Americans, not people on the other side of Earth.

Sadly me either. But I’m not disappointed. I expected it. Happens to all of them.

There is no comparison between Ivanka and Hillary. Ivanka was making tens of millions annually. And her husband was making tens of millions more each year. They are worth together over a billion. Not her fathers money, their money. They have both given up tens of millions of dollars for a job that they accept no pay and has lots of costs.

Hillary made over a hundred million working in government. And she is able to provide jobs to her cronies as well.

Much of this thread is comparing Ivanka to Hillary. But the thing to remember, is that Ivanka is getting poorer by working in government. Hillary got much richer. And while Ivanka will get our loose a hundred thousand here or there for travel or security, that is not a material amount to her. She wears that on her finger. She would have spent 100 grand on a vacation. And the security she gets is because we elected her father. Obama’s children or Nixon’s daughter got the same thing. It comes with the office. And trust me, that security gets old fast.

If true, this is egregious and potentially illegal...

Well then by the writer's definition, it's possibly not egregious and is potentially legal...

I think the issue is worthy of looking at. If it is deemed improper, she should withdraw from the effort, and allow someone else to pick up the leadership.

I do not see it as a an avenue for personal gain. It would seem altruistic in nature.

Contrasting what we know about the Clintons and their foundation, she should skate very easily here, since the Clintons did.

So true about Eric Trump ending his foundation for children ....to remove even the impression of impropriety.

Ivanka opens hers for foreign donors from inside the West Wing of the White House.

I continue to think Ivanka will do her father’s credibility and administration great harm.

Mike Allen is a Trump-hating leftist. No one else is reporting this. The World Bank says that it, not Ivanks, would administer the fund which as of now is only in the discussion/possibility stage.

But go ahead and report Mike Allen’s gossip as fact. DailyKos does the same.

“Frankly, I’d be a lot more comfortable if Ivanka and her husband would both return to NYC.”

I’m with you. Those two are giving Trump MORE PROBLEMS than anyone else. If they’d go away, and Bannon fully steps in, Trump would not have a problem KEEPING HIS PROMISES and teaching the GOP how to do the same...or more likely, forcing them to do the same.
