Was just doing an LOL re: coffee cup. Manila does have high winds from time to time. Seems you've a lot of experience on all those craft; I flew the 777 FMS at Boeing before Flight Safety International bought them out and it was pretty awesome.
I'm sure PAL get their training through their facilities or they're sent to those companies they buy their aircraft from.

Vietnam was an absolute nightmare. I never saw traffic like that in my whole 20 year career. I saw 3 aircraft land on the same runway, at the same time. It was scary.
