Give us some credit. Our concerns about Ivanka are legitimate and have nothing to do with education policy.
Your obsessions with Ivanka are becoming embarrassing.
I’m not the least bit concerned about Ivanka. No matter what her political bent, she is not the president, her father is - and he is turning out to be far more strongly rooted in conservative principles than anyone (myself included) gave him credit for.
One of those principles seems to be a strong commitment to keeping campaign promises. He is pleasantly surprising us daily with issues like getting the federal government out of K-12.
Furthermore, he seems to be the one bringing these issues up, not reacting to pressure, political expediency or whoever he last spoke with.
And if Ivanka wants to be a voice for empowering women, feeding the poor or even saving baby seals or some such thing normally associated with liberalism, I don’t see any harm in that. Conservatives don’t believe in redistribution but that doesn’t mean we are not compassionate - it’s about time we dispelled that leftist lie.
I guess it’s a legitimate concern that Ivanka and Jarad might push the president in a globalist direction - but I see no sign of that at all - zero. nada. And he hardly seems like the type to be pushed.
Ivanka may disagree with him on some things but I doubt she wants to ‘manage’ him even if she could. She seems to like him the way he is.
