The chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee thinks spending "billions of dollars" on a border wall isn't the right way go to bolster national security.
In a telephone town hall, Sen. Cory Gardner of Colorado shot down President Donald Trump's southern border wall as too expensive and not necessarily the best strategy to seal the nation's southern border.
"As far as the wall goes, I believe we have to have border security, but I do think billions of dollars on a wall is not the right way to proceed," he told a voter, Politico reported.

Sen. Cory Gardner (R- COC)
GOPe.....traitors.
A worse idea was spending hundreds of thousands—let alone millions—on Cory’s election campaign.
With what? Magic pixie dust? Good intentions?
Dont worry.
When election time come around, he will get that country twang in his voice, a cowboy hat on his head, a Bible in his pocket, and say lots of stuff about Jesus and vets.
And the suckers will still vote for him in the primaries.
And just what is the RINO way to bolster national security?
...not necessarily the best strategy to seal the nation's southern border.
And just what is the RINO best strategy to seal the nation's border?
When you know what ISN'T the best way or the best strategy to do something implies you know what IS the best way or best strategy. Silence is not the solution. What have you got in mind Senator? If you ask Ryan he will probably recite the RAT solution which is to let everyone in, the dumber the better.
Cory, how much do we spend on illegals now? What a dumbass.
Well, Cory Garndner wants to ban birth control, so....
I agree. A wide mine field would work better. It would give the army a new testing ground in the process.
Douche Nipple.
“The Wall” does not have to be an actual brick wall, but 100% of the border must be fenced-off (at minimum) and patrolled and SEALED.
You want to come in, you use the front door.
What national security ? We are being invaded by battalions of migrants and nobody is stopping them.
Gardner is a Cheap Labor Express Republican.
They are determined to keep the borders open and the laws unenforced.
Spending billions to support illegal immigrants is a bad idea.
Spending billions to provide incentives to have children out of wedlock is a bad idea.
Much better spending it social services for the millions of people crossing over the wall-less border. And more military like police forces to defend against any _pieceful_ religion types who come across the same.
What arrogant globalist traitors.
Colorado is already overrun with pedros, (yes, I said that!),
so could it be a sign of resignation and impotence of the congressman?
Oh but I bet the Senator had no problem approving 500 billion in TARP money. His argument is a pile of steaming manure.
