As the deadline to pass a funding bill looms on the Hill, a prominent Trump-ally said Tuesday that an actual wall is not needed along the full border with Mexico.

“The phase we are in now is designed to separate Trump from his supporters and to divide his coalition.”

So-called conservatives are known as the stupid party for known and verifiable reasons. Just throw the suckers a bone and they’ll go barbecue it on their newly remodeled deck.

Personally I am afraid of nothing. I am self funded until I am 110 years old. My wish is a 36 foot wall along entire southern border. But I do not always go by wishful thinking. I got where I am by being a cold hard realist.

A government shutdown on Friday is a risky proposition for many marginal district republicans running in coming mid-terms. If democrats take over congress in 2018, that is what I am afraid of. Again, I am self funded until age 110, but I have young kids and young relatives. I am afraid for them living under democrat rule.

Just watch. All the anti-Trump hysteria bots will be out on this thread. “SEE! SEE! He’s not keeping his promises.” This is a dedicated and deliberate fake news campaign against the base. Sadly, way too many are buying it, with help from the Cruzites or the RINOs who really never liked Trump.

“Building the wall will fix much, living in Texas I live the effects of an open border every day.”

No question. But I am wondering, given that the “border counties” and their reps in Congress are opposing the wall ( both the RATs and the RINOs are involved), so I am wondering just what Texas is going to do about the “RAT Creep” that’s now as much as two counties deep along your border with Mexico. I fear that Texas is poised to follow us here in CA with the border counties and the big RAT-run cities eventually becoming the majority. Because you know, land area-wise, California is Conservative. It’s just that there are so many people in our cities that the country conservatives are now a minority, and most likely permanently so at least until the state goes bankrupt.

Those results are fine, but any future president can change them.

They are not permanent.

Nothing will do but what was promised. I will not settle for anything less.

The GOP will never lie to me again.

It’s do or die for them.

The wall will be there, or my vote will not be. Not for him or any other stinking Republican.

I am so sick of these dickless jackasses I could throw up.

I am not going to accept any excuse whatsoever.

Do what you said, or GTFO.

Please,Please,Oh please tell me you forgot the “/s” tag. Building a wall on a 200’ cliff constitutes a whole new definition of stupid.

I will ditch the GOP at the federal level but I still may vote GOP at the state level. If there is no wall by 2020 I do not want the GOP in power ever again. At least with Demon Party the right gets thrown a bone now and then. What I really want is for Trump to run in 2020 after forming a new American Party.

Cool.

You accept no wall if you want to.

No wall means I will never vote for an R again in my life.

Simple as that.

I’ve been afraid to post this for fear of reprisal. Land mines are much cheaper and far more effective. The US military needs to clear out a one-mile strand along the border and saturate it with land mines. As Commander-in-Chief President Trump would not need congressional approval.

OK, so lemme get this straight: President Trump—without Congressional approval—should install a mile-wide swath of land mines along the Mexican border in order to curtail illegal immigration? And it will cost less than building a physical wall?

What an eminently practical economic suggestion. How very helpful and realistic.

And you were concerned about reprisals? What ever for?

Kthxbye...

K.

You agree, then, that the argument that a future president can undo an action by this one isn’t cogent. Thanks.

Seems wasteful to put up a fence here.
