A "tweet response" from President Trump lamenting how wrong and illegal this decision is simply will not do. By definition, it would seem to me that they are violating the law. Federal law. They don’t deserve federal funds.

And I say that as a person who grew up in Chicago; the place is already a disaster area. But “Tiny Dancer” (the nickname a Chicago radio host calls Rahm Emmanuel) is apparently insisting on making it worse.

When the Supreme Court was blocking FDR’s wishes at every turn, didn’t he threaten to stack the court with a bunch more supreme court justices? All within his power. He forced the courts to back off.

Furthermore, funding comes from Congress. This was a Justice Department grant. No judge has the authority to demand that the Justice Department gives its budget away as the judges decide.
