One weighed 400 pounds, had diabetes and was considered morbidly obese. Did he die before his time? His victim(s) sure did.
This was justice, not murder.

The very last person to be executed by guillotine in France, in 1977, was missing one leg. They had to spend several minutes strapping on his prosthetic before he left his cell for the final time. According to witnesses it make a loud noise as he walked down the hall and toward his doom.

Already had one extremity chopped off, and about to chop off another. Something darkly ironic about that...
