My politics and sexual preference are completely opposite those of Elton, but I love his music- wishing him a speedy recovery from one "rocket man" to another.

Keith Richard made a comment that perfectly sums it up...he once said that Lady Elton based an entire career on songs about dead blondes.

I dated cheerleaders and married one (42 years now).
But back in HS I made my GF a ballerina statue dancing before a mirror and brass rail. (Tiny Dancer). She wanted to be a Rockett. It was a good memory for her.
Another memory was going to a funeral for a first date in 1971. Elton was on the radio....

Elton is lucky to be alive. That is a long flight from South America to London.

Same here. Though I do not approve his life. It is his to lead. However, I will never deny him the credit that he is an amazing song writer of our time. My favorite of all of his songs is “Someone Saved My Life Tonight” As a child listening to the song, it was it was telling me not to give up on life as I couldn’t deal with the things happening around me.
Mr. Elton John, wish you a speedy recovery.

not me....I think he's a panderer of evil.....I turn the radio off if he comes on....
have you seen him lately?....he's really turned into an ugly little wimp...

About 7 or 8 years ago, Sir Elton John helped Leon Russell get back up on his feet, and then made everyone who had forgotten who Leon Russell was, remember. A true Knight!
