Hershey has always been a poor man’s Cadbury.
Of course in America they’re the same thing (Hershey bought American Cadbury in 1988). And non-American Cadbury is owned by Kraft, so not much difference really.
We now have the makings of a great social experiment (provided that Cadbury makes no changes, in the meantime). If we can ascribe any shifting in market share to Hershey’s changes; then we (and corporate boards, and lawmakers) will know the dollar cost of such changes.
After I posted #1 to you, Drudge’s page is now filled with three HUGE photos of See’s Candy! :-D
.
Cadbury is just as crappy as Hersey.
All sugar, no coco.
Quality begins at 75% coco.

Cadbury is low quality chocolate that melts into sludge in the mouth, but it tastes GREAT. If you are slumming for cheaper chocolate, Cadbury’s will surely do. Hershey’s should not be legally allowed to be called chocolate.
Hershey actually owns Cadbury. Brother was A district manager for many many years. Used to have Hershey candy coming out our ears. Lol
