Totally agree. Well aware that the European right is very anti-US and anti-Israel, but this is about survival. We are talking about civilization finding its courage to knock out barbarism. This is probably France's one last chance. Canada and the US will have many chances. But it is just about game over for Europe.

Hmmm. When Sarko was up for re-election, a bunch of his defenders on here argued that it was "France's last chance". Seems they've been getting quite a lot of "last chances" lately.

Reminds me of how 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2016 were ALL supposedly "the most important Presidential election of our lifetime"
