I lurked for about 10 years before I had the nerve to join then it took me a while before I could post, now you can’t shut me up. LOL

I have good days and I have bad days. I have gone from bedridden after the accident in 1997 to a wheelchair, a couple surgeries later to a walker. I can now walk on my own, but can’t stand or walk too much daily or both legs swell all the way up past my knees and flare. I also have it in both arms, I drop a lot of things from it. My coffee mugs are replaced alot LOL. I use voice software when it flares in the arms and hands, so I can still use the computer.

Considering I should have died in the accident according to medics and doctors, I am remarkably lucky to still enjoy life.

I made it here to my friends in Amish country to house sit. Neighbor who is off watched pets/house over weekend and Monday and My “shift” is now til I have to be at my wine sampling job on Fri

Next to no sleep last night with shingles pain issues.. Been taking the lysine (on the recommendation of several here ) for about 6 weeks. No improvement. Some days are worse than others.

It was awful driving the almost two hours trying to keep awake/alert. I did have Rush on so that helped. I am normally not a radio person when I am on the road.. even music not on

for pix width/height.. you do NOT need to put both in

after the link and the “ ... skip a space and type in width=”450”> and you should be fine Using this format the height will automatically be proportional

450 works pretty good for a landscape layout pix. For portrait, I routinely put in 300 for width

I’m putting ice on my arms now. And boy does it feel good! Nothing knocks down my inflammation like ice. The only good thing about the hot summer is that ice feels doubly good; it’s hard to keep an ice bag on long enough in the winter
