Have a safe trip and good luck at the ophthalmologist. I hope it’s just a regular check up check up and nothing is wrong. I have to go myself in a couple weeks, as soon as hubby’s new insurance kicks in. My glasses just aren’t doing the job any more.
Awesome! 95 down...
Beautiful pax!
Morning, wh!
Oh nice, I do like ham and eggs :-)
Oh yeah, they always want to push pills. When my cholesterol was high that’s all the doctor wanted to talk about. When I came back six weeks later and everything was normal, he couldn’t believe it. All I did was start doing the things I should’ve done all along ;(
“Not one of them is willing to go open a medical text book and figure anything out on their own.”
Feel so bad for your terrible experiences with doctors.
You need to move here, CB.
Our primary care doctor is a very humble man and has on occasion said excuse me but I’m going to look up something just to be sure I’m getting this right, brings back one of his med books and proceeds to read out loud to us what it says.
And he has no problem referring us to a specialist if he thinks we need one, doesn’t think he knows everything or should handle everything.
After hubby went to the ER and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with him, on a follow up visit to primary, he had researched and told hubby just what had happened to him, gave advice which hubby has followed and had no more problems.
I thank the good Lord for this wonderful man.
I’ll second that! When the wall gets built, will be no chance of them ever coming back either.v
Hope it’s a good book! Enjoy your afternoon. Grab a cuppa tea
That would’ve been a much better plan!
But I think they want to make the network more liberal, which those strong hosts you mentioned won’t do
BTW how is hubby’s new job working out?
So thrilled he got it.
Gee I even out typo-ed myself!
I meant to ask, Is this good doctor a neurologist or a GP?
I appreciate and don't disagree with your decision not to watch, Jane, but I'm glad I watched and glad Tucker aired it.
Yes, there are more important news items going on now, but the confusion in our culture which is being sown by the gender issue is also important and is very damaging, and it's easy for people, especially the young who are not fully formed yet, to dismiss this issue and think that whatever a person chooses is their own choice and that all choices are equal.
I've seen photos of Jenner and, although I already knew where I stood on the issue, I was impacted by the dissonance between his visual portrayal of himself as being feminine and the eerily odd masculine voice which accompanied it.
Added to that odd manifestation was his holding a rational conversation and actually making at least one good point about why he voted Republican.
Bottom line, for me it was a definite "uncanny valley" experience.
I think that this public interview of Jenner was a good thing because by watching it and hearing him speak people can have a more realistic experience of what he's done to himself than any photo can portray.
The truth is the most powerful weapon for good.
:-)
Good morning, LG!
MAGA!!!!!!
It’s a beautiful day here for even more WINNING!!!!!
Mornin’, and thanks for the ping list, Dolly!
I’ll be up early in the morning for Ping Duty!
:-)
Your doctor sounds wonderful. Well, I just moved here so I do have a chance of finding a good doctor here. I think they will be different here than they were in California, mainly because this area is religious. If I can find a doctor that doesn’t think HE is God, they have to be better than the ones I’ve been to :-)
It’s mainly the specialist that I have found to be so arrogant. When I was having all my hand troubles, they were so infuriatingly smug. I could point to exactly where the pain was and all they had to do was open a textbook on anatomy. When I did find a doctor, she was fantastic. But I probably went through 20 of them first. Unfortunately, I had to go to orthopedic surgeons. What I have is very rare, actually I have two very rare things, which probably confused the idiots. Unfortunately a GP would likely never have heard of it. But I bet yours could’ve found it in a book!
Thanks, Jane!
What is it about flowers that we love so much?
I miss the tropical gardening in the Houston area. So many flowers everywhere, and so easy to grow.
Here in Colorado it’s different, but just as pretty.
The wildflowers here are just gorgeous.
You put that very well. I hope the younger crowd is more shocked with Jenner’s appearance and voice, than finding something to admire about it. Shocked and confused, I would think would be the norm.
I wonder why he didn’t do something to make his voice higher. I imagine there’s something medical, pills or something. Or maybe not. This is just not a subject I keep up with! :-)
How very sad MS.BEHAVIN about your Poppa.
That's a really good idea.
