It’s hard to fight the stupid people. The dumbing down of our education system now has its desired effect :-(. Nobody can think for themselves anymore, they just believe what they are told.
For instance, I wonder a lot about people that listen to the mainstream media. Don’t they wonder how in the world Trump got elected if he is so hated? Wouldn’t they try to find the other side to figure out what’s really going on, since they’re obviously being lied to? That’s what I would do If what I am told doesn’t make sense with what is happening. I would think that there must be a big segment of the population that believes otherwise, and why do they do that?
Maybe age isn’t the only reason for memory lose.
I have a SIL that has always had to write stuff down since she hit her 40s.

Yes but the average GOP’er is abysmal at working the PR.
For one thing back in the Clinton, Bush & Zero days they routinely refused to acknowledge that the media was also the “enemy”! They thought that could “work with them!”.
Trump acknowledges what they are and goes around them.
Of course its easier with things like Twitter but it could have been done then with a little creative thinking & a will do it.
They were told the Russians stole it for Trump and they believe whatever they are told.
I don’t know why it is considered so odd; it is a great idea!
I have to switch my clothes around seasonally as well. It’s good exercise, and it sort of forces me to throw some things away to make more room. For shopping... ;)
Cotton, my mother will be 88 next month. She’s always had a terrible memory due to a car wreck as a child.
She’s always kept lists and marked things on calendars.
Now at her age there’s no change and she has great habits to keep things going.
OTH I’ve always had a great memory. But have no habits of marking things down so now that my memory has given up a step...It can lead to minor catastrophies..Lol.

I think that’s why Fox has a bigger audience than the LSM, they make sense.

When I was gone we went to Barnes and Noble, after looking around and finding nothing I wanted, we ended up in the little restaurant.
We sit down and hubby says hello to an older couple next to us, just hello and the guy launches into what Trump is doing to this country, that Obummercare is just fine or we should have religions step up and have the hospitals, that things weren’t a mess when Trump took over, Fox News is a facist news network, I’m sure I’m leaving some out but gee....
Hubby who doesn’t do politics finally said anything the government touches they ruin.
Asked the guy if he liked the way the VA is run cuz that’s where Obummercare is taking us.
I finally signal hubby with my eyes to get out of there.
Proud of myself for keeping my cool after the insane nonsense he was spouting.
His wife didn’t say a word, just sat there, felt sorry for her but I’m sure she is used to it.
