Howdy, Kathy.
Were you able to get your mom back to the clinic today for her other “jello” shot and get the meds that are supposed to help with her hallucinations? Hope this all helps her, which will help YOU.
Do we have kitteh kittens?
Lovely weather out here, just a bit of running around for me today.
Hope to see son this weekend.
Missed you yesterday, is all well?
Sure did....yesterday she said she felt nothing, today a tiny prick. So round one is finished...2 more rounds for each knee and then prayers that they make a difference. On the way we talked about no matter the outcome, we tried.
Picked up her prescription on the way home.....Olanzapine, common name ZYPREXA. Very low dose and I can choose to increase it if it doesn’t seem to be helping after 1 to 2 weeks.
“Olanzapine is used to treat certain mental/mood conditions (such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder). It may also be used in combination with other medication to treat depression. This medication can help to decrease hallucinations and help you to think more clearly.”
Please let this work...she started seeing writing at the pain center and asked one of the young ladies to point to the writing on the wall. *sigh* And I heard her tell my sister that while she waited in the car as I got the pills, she saw writing in the clouds.
