Over the past 20 years at Fox News, I have been extremely proud to launch and lead one of the most successful news programs in history, which has consistently informed and entertained millions of Americans and significantly contributed to building Fox into the dominant news network in television. It is tremendously disheartening that we part ways due to completely unfounded claims. But that is the unfortunate reality many of us in the public eye must live with today. I will always look back on my time at Fox with great pride in the unprecedented success we achieved and with my deepest gratitude to all my dedicated viewers. I wish only the best for Fox News Channel.
They’re going to get Pirro or Hannity next..they want to can strong voices. Period. The channel is finished.
The second Fox PAID money to the first woman... I knew an endless stream of random women would rush forward looking for an easy payday.
It’s all BS.
Just a reminder that this stuff goes back more than a decade. Why is it critical now?

An aside to my own comment.... Frankly I could care less about the demise of Fox News.
I USED TO BE an avid watcher, but they have become no better than the rest of the TV media. I no longer regularly watch ANY of their programs.
My TV was always, by default, on Fox News. Now it’s turned OFF.
Thanks to someone here, I now know that One America News (OAN) is on my Direct TV programming. I have added them to my favorites and we will see.

When BORe was on a local NYC station I recognized him as a fake. When I saw him on Faux News I realized they were basically just saying “Hey at least we’re not as bad as the other guys.” That got it for a while but about 5 years ago I had had enough and haven’t watched a night of Faux News since.
I watch One America News because OAN IS what Faux pretends to be.

Quietly being being shoved down the throat if the next generation by way if kangaroo courts and college “honor codes”. There is an organized movement afoot to demonize and silence white males.
I’ve never forgotten that BOR interviewed BO during the Republican convention. I’ve also never watched him since then.

Fox should have stood by him, at least, let the civil suit against him play out and make it clear that he'd have to behave himself around women at Fox.
we will never know, when they "settle" nobody talks. The only way FOX gets hurt is if CNN puts O'Reilly on at 8pm.

If he is the one doing the hiring, he'd pay for any future harassment suits.
I’m expected to believe that every woman (including his ex-wife) who has encountered Bill seems to have a horror story about him for no good reason. I’m expected to believe that his insane blow-up at Inside Edition was just a one-time moment of frustration. I’m supposed to believe I’m not even sure what about that falafel voicemail he left to that producer. And I’m supposed to believe that he and Fox spent $13 million just to avoid bad publicity.
Either an entire gender has a vendetta against this guy....or he’s just a bad dude.
He’s 67 years old and worth probably $100 million. I think he should enjoy his golden years.
Then, its Fox's problem for letting O'Reilly get away with whatever he did.
O'Reilly brought in hundreds of millions to Fox so the money paid wasn't significant.
The Murdochs should have had the decency to let him continue under the condition that make no inappropriate comments to women. It's still questionable if anything illegal occurred.

The Murdochs and Fox management let him get away with whatever he got away with. They should have at least had the decency to set some boundaries and let him continue unless he was proven to have done something illegal.
You are a liberal if you follow bill o’reilly who is an independent and is very liberal in his views. For you, there is no helping stupid.
