We absolutely love it. We live down river from Sandpoint and every new day is another of God's blessings.
I grew up in Lake Tahoe, so winter has always been part of my life and my wife grew up in L.A. so actually having seasons thrills her to no end. She loves to bundle up and take the dogs for a jaunt in winter when everything is white and soothingly silent just as much as enjoying the warm months when nature is in full bloom. Watching a moose cow educate her calf in the woods below our home and teach him to swim was a gift for her first winter.
We watched the political and social/civil deterioration in California and didn't fully realize how much it was changing while we were in the middle of it all, running on the treadmill and just going through the motions of rudimentary existence. And it has paid off. We are with our people in the honest, respectful American Redoubt.

I’ve read it. Recommended.
Sounds great up there. I’m sure I’d like it myself.
