The most competitive special Congressional election yet has arrived, and we will be providing returns live tonight right here. In addition to our district-wide totals, we will be analyzing county and precinct level returns. For the Democrats, the hope is that Jon Ossoff can pull out an outright win tonight- if he gets over 50% of the vote in this crowded field, hes in as the districts new Representative in Congress. If he falls short, then he will face off against one of four likely Republican opponents in a runoff on June 20th: Karen Handel, Bob Gray, Judson Hill, or Dan Moody. Polls close at 7pm and we anticipate at least early vote tallies to begin rolling in shortly thereafter. Refresh this page for the latest results tonight out of Georgia.
Sweet. I just don’t want to hear the media bs. Wake up pubs. Pass some legislation.
Turnout is the key. The Dems are energized and motivated behind one candidate, who has a huge amount of money and the support of the MSM and Hollywood. The race has become high profile because it is a way to continue to attack Trump and boost the morale of the Dems for the midterms. The Dems are desperate for a victory in much the same way the Reps were in 2009 when they took the governorships in NJ and VA.
Ossoff has dropped from 62% to 56%.
No, the more the worse.... Less money for any one candidate (unless he/she self-finances the run); fewer volunteers as they are split between different campaigns; increased agitation between voter blocks; more ads with more criticism of other Republicans (which becomes GREAT fodder for the future DEMOCRAT opponent!)... Furthermore, dissociated supporters of the losers sometimes do not get behind the winner but carries the disappointment by not voting at all in the general.
EEK! How could “pajama boy” win anything!
Why do people feel compelled to keep putting up early results with 4%?
That’s not true...he’s not running from it. The ad he’s running here in Ga he says, “I’m a democrat, and proud of it”.
Also, having many candidates may prevent Rs from getting a recount.
Don’t know Ga details but as a rule a specific candidate has to be close to demand one.
It takes time for RAT’s to stuff ballots.
DeKalb County election site only showing 6 of 43 precincts have returned.
Fulton County election site showing partial results, 0 of 116 precincts have fully returned.
Cobb County election site showing that 19 of 51 precincts have fully returned.
“...Ossoff has now dropped BELOW 50%...”

Where are you getting your numbers from?
Got a link?
Where are you following?
His vote went from 33k to 48k and he went down from 58 to 56.7%
NO, all of GA is not in the Eastern Time zone. A little south and west of Atlanta it becomes Central time.
Jon Ossoff (Democratic) 55.6% 50,165
Karen Handel (Republican) 16.4% 14,799
Dan Moody (Republican) 8.5% 7,697
Bob Gray (Republican) 8.3% 7,466
Judson Hill (Republican) 7.8% 6,996
23% reporting (48 of 210 precincts)
The real consideration is the number of independents and how they lean in this race. Will they even bother to show up? The greater the turnout, the better for the Reps given the history of this district.
That is not true
Atlanta J-C website showing that 41 of 210 precincts, or 20%, are in, and 84,824 total votes have been counted so far:
Jon Ossoff D 48,094 57%
Karen Handel R 13,767 16%
Dan Moody R 7,325 9%
Looks as if the demoncrat is mopping the floor in this election.
