lol what about 57 with a ponytail?
After WWII it is the USA with all the tax payer dollars that re-built all of Europe, set them on their feet with new factories and homes, protected them with our military and by funding NATO. I wonder how many of the current generation know this?
In 1861-1865, the southern USA was devastated worse than Europe during WW2. The southern US still hasn't recovered from the northern invasion of that period ...thanks for all the help.
Hey, there was a girl in "Napoleon Dynamite" (movie) who had a ponytail sticking out of the side of her head. Maybe that would work; maybe even a dual man bun situation -- kinda like Princess Leah wore.
The South wasn’t facing a Communist rival for world supremacy in 1865 either....
These people are equating America with New Yorkers and Hollywood types.
It’s a BIG country guys..
They were asked ‘What are the stereotypes of Americans?’ We’ve heard them all before. Some are true-ish, some are not. The interviewer didn’t ask ‘do you believe these are true’ although some indicated they believed them. We were in Amsterdam last summer & a tour guide we met was quite jovial over the usual stereotypes people have of the Dutch. And he acknowledged most of them were true. Oh well...you don’t get to know people ‘up close & personal’ unless you go visit them.
When the black and Latino populations are screened out, US population is more fit, less fat, and has longer life expectancy than any European country other than Monoco.
Soon the media drums will start beating & the talking
heads will start bleating about the “plight of the
homeless in America”. - When the Dhimmicrats are in
“control” - crickets.
I’ll work on it.
I grew up in England, moved to America as a teenager. I’d heard many stereotypes about “Americans”. I’ll just say that I learned a huge amount about the “human condition”. We all suffer from the same failings. People love their country, although the “why” is often very different. We seem to have a need to believe we were born into something great that justifies our existence.
You can grow up in North Korea, Japan, Germany, Saudi Arabia, wherever, you just get a different version of what is “good”, or what is “right”. Which means you need to focus on the output, the results. Truth should come with happiness, prosperity, liberty, etc., while falsehood is mired by poverty, death, and suffering. Truth is not easy to discern, especially with the chaos of information we’re surrounded with.
Ultimately, my experiences here have transformed this individual. I see a lost Europe, unable to comprehend its cultural differences with those that wish to destroy it. God bless America.
Can’t even find Dutch food in Holland any more.
And Monaco isn’t a proper country, more an enclave of the ultra-rich.
New York was once New Amsterdam.
One of the mentors I had in business was a Dutch immigrant. Came over in his late teens to go to college about the time I was born in the late 40s. He passed away much too young.
We would walk into a Prime Rib house for lunch, when we sat down the waitress would say, “Can I get you water?”
Henk would say, “I washed before I sat down — Wodka.”
Lived on several continents, married to a Swiss woman. The one unalterable impression is that Americans couldn’t give a flying f*** what the rest of the world thinks about them. The good old USA is the best. Period.
Isn’t Amsterdam fag capitol of the world
Winner!
Vincent: But, you know what they put on French fries in Holland instead of ketchup?
Jules: What?
Vincent: Mayonnaise.
Jules: G-- d---!
Vincent: I seen them do it, man, they f------ drown them in that s---.
Jules: That's some f----- up s---.
