So the republicans are polling at 12% and 15%,
Ossoff is polling “only” at 39%, yet his hopes to win are ‘fading’? Hmmm. Okay.
He needs 50%+1 to win it outright. If he doesn't get that, there is a runoff between the top vote-getters of each party. Clearly, 60% right now prefer one Republican or another and that means the Republican will have an edge in the runoff.
Yes. His hopes are fading. Unless he pulls off 50.0001% of the vote, there is a second runoff election with the two top placers.
In Newt Gingrich’s former district.
Georgia requires 50%+1 vote to win an election, else there is a runoff. See my previous post.
You do not understand this race. The other 61% is divided amongst 17other candidates. More than fifty percent is divided amongst GOP candidates. It will go to a run off and the republican candidate will win
You need to educate yourself on that district and the weirdness do peach state special elections
Then you’ll get it
I think the coonass state does this too
Because there are 5 or so GOP candidates rach at 12-15 while Ossoff is by himself on D side.
