THEY HAVE EVERY “LEGAL RIGHT” TO REMOVE ANYONE FROM AN AIRPLANE FOR ANY REASON_ EVEN IF THE PILOT JUST DOES NOT LIKE THEM

Please point out your legal rationale here. The author of this piece made a specific legal citation. Please attempt the same.

Stating a belief in what you think the law should be is no substitute for citing what the law actually says.

~~~~~~~
But it’s in ALL CAPS, doesn’t that count for something?
Even if it is in all caps?
Exactly! And if Mr K is right, then United has nothing at all to worry about. After all, they were within their ‘legal rights.’ But it is quite clear that United will end up laying this man a fair amount of money, which will be an interesting result considering Mr K’s adanamnt statements that what United did was ‘legal.’
" The author of this piece made a specific legal citation."
Of which neither she nor you even read it, did you? Did you? You didn't, so shut up and read it then apologize for being an ignorant and lazy poster.
Here is that legal citation that you and the author didn't read but quote.
14 CFR 250.2a - Policy regarding denied boarding.
In the event of an oversold flight, every carrier shall ensure that the smallest practicable number of persons holding confirmed reserved space on that flight are denied boarding involuntarily.
NOTHING in that regulation stipulates anything that you have said. It says the smallest practicable number, not "no one", shall be denied boarding involuntarily.
