Right, it could also be the problems are more glaring or visible and the benefits aren’t as attention getting. There are a lot of folks that get emotional support over the internet. I still have a hard time imaging it is ultimately going to be a benefit 100 years for now. Wait until they come up with good virtual reality and internet hook up skull implants, ha.

Definitely. Also, it's possible that the problems are "worser" than the benefits are "better." For example, the capacity for texting and other smartphone use while driving is increasing auto accidents and death very dramatically. That's really bad. On the other hand, I can send my husband a text, "Get milk, spinach pls," saving a phone call or trip to the store. That's a little good.
