The guy beat the living chit out of himself. If you’re going to blow it out of proportion at least get the facts right.
Any physical damage he sustained he did it to himself. Just looking at the video I as a simple observer can see he faked everything and made a drama queen production out of it right down to blood curdling girl screams. Remember, he is a doctor, a criminal felon doctor, but still a doctor so he knows exactly what to do to really make it look good while doing the least actual damage to himself.
The guy/girl, whatever, was angling for a payday right from the start. It will be a sad day in America if he wins a single dime. Not HRC winning the election sad but sad nonetheless.

Yeah; when someone’s trying to get attention there’s no better and easier way than knocking out a few of his own teeth and inflicting a self-induced concussion.
Even if his screaming might’ve been over the top (which it may, or may not, have been), I’m glad he did it because it brought much-needed attention to the thuggery of the airlines. And if that eventually makes a path to investigating the overreaching abuse of the TSA, then so much the better.
1. He is talking to someone on his cell phone, and when the police order him off the plane he says to them: "We make a lawsuit against United." This was before anything had happened to him.
2. The police basically tell him that he has to get off the plane, come hell or high water ... at which point he tells them the they will have to drag him off.
It sounds to me like the police did exactly what he asked. Case closed.
I hate airline travel, and this whole incident encapsulates many of the reasons why. United deserves all the bad publicity they get from it, but if I were on a jury I wouldn't award this guy a dime.
You claim prior intent for Dao becoming injured. You claim Dao intentionally set out to ensure he suffer a concussion, broken nose and lost teeth from the start. That is a ridiculous claim. It has no merit. United set into motion the events and injuries suffered by the actions they took. United’s goose is cooked.

Thank You! I was beginning to think I was dreaming of seeing/hearing that “other video”! I agree, the Dr was a real jerk and pretty much asked to be manhandled. Not that I agree with what was done to him, but HE was a real drama queen with $$$ signs in his eyes.

With the Injuries they said he had, it seems that he would have looked a lot worse for wear.

The one thing about this that I just don’t get is that the guy failed to follow the directions of the Flight Crew which is a Criminal Offense.
A while ago former NY Senator Alfonse D’Amato was kicked off a Flight for complaining about the delay in departing.
What if he resisted? Well, he is a Republican so the Airline would have hailed as Heroes if he was beat to a pulp.
The police smashed his face into the armrest. Then they dragged him off the plane.
What are you talking about he did it himself?
United is infamous for doing things like this to their paying customers, and it’s time they paid out.
I hope he OWNS united and those cops when he is done.
