The person who filmed the video of a man being forcibly removed from a United Airlines flight over the weekend says security is not to blame for the situation.
"It's clearly the man's fault that security had to drag him off. He was resisting. I don't blame the security guards at all," Tyler Bridges, who captured the moment on his cellphone, told Fox Business on Tuesday.

Like Target. Or its antipode, Chick-fil-A. Target is dead to me and spicy chicken sammiches have gone from a twice a year indulgence to a twice a week pleasure.
The market cares if your plane can get you to point B, and do it cheaply and not crash. Enough of those flights will occur in the next 4 weeks that this will be long forgotten.
We'll see soon enough.
1) Senior citizens can’t be working doctors ? Traveling through airports with 2 hour security lines and getting shoved into airline chosen hotels for a night can’t be more trying than working as a doctor ?
2) That, is the ENTIRE issue — free market vs. using government bully boys to force a financial transaction.
3) Lots of things go on for a long time until people wake up and demand change. This event is hopefully that wakeup call. Expecting customers to change their plans, and incur delays that inconvenience dozens of other people including this doctor’s patients just because it is convenient for the carrier is complete BS. This kind of business practice should be illegal.
he was not traveling alone. he was traveling with his wife.
united, by offering his wife a bribe, separated him from his travel companion at the time of the incident.
If the nutjob should not have been traveling alone, then united is at fault for isolating him from his travel companion.
Your logic makes sense to me. I still blame the dao guy but you’re right; people do have that thought about being secure once they make it to their seat.
I’d like to see some policy changes and a passenger bill of rights come from this so everyone is on the same page. I don’t think the guy deserves anything more than to have his medical bills covered though and then only if his insurance doesn’t cover it.
He should probably be banned from flying on any airline again too.
Nice try at an analogy but that dog won’t hunt. Apples and spinach.
Actually it just came out that the way the airline contract read, Dao was right. Under the contract the airline can deny “boarding” a passenger ... which means getting on the plane ... but the reasons cited for removing passengers from a plane mention nothing about needing the seat because of an oversold plane, but only things such as creating a hazard or being disruptive (which wouldn’t count then if your reason for being disruptive was you were being taken off the plane).
Perfect analogy, that dog did hunt, and your duck is dead and hanging from Trapper's mouth.
Tonight's dinner will feature roasted duck, with a side of spinach and apple pie for dessert.
Well, I guess that’s it then, there’s no teaching you leftists anything.
The only leftist around here is you, bolshevik boy.
Not even on my worst day son.
