9.6 in 100 yds. Darned good!!!!

I did 10.8 for 100 yds, 52.8 for 440, HS in 1966.

Knees and stuff these days - kind of jog out to get the paper in the morning - 20 yds.

I actually only ran a 10.2 in high school. I was a bit of a late bloomer as I got a lot faster in college. I was a hurdler and it really strikes me that hurdling increases your sprint speed because it lengthens your stride.

We had one sprinter who officially only ran 9.3 (only?) but I saw him beat a world record holder in the 50 and do it fairly easily.

You would have killed me in the 440 but that is because I could not even hold up for the 220. By about 160 yards the bear would jump on my back.
