With family, friends and teammates cheering her on at her first high school track meet, Andraya won the girls 100- and 200-meter dashes, and helped her 4x100-meter relay team take second place. She ran 11.99 seconds in the 100 and 26.34 in the 200.

"I do hope I inspire people, but not only with track," Andraya said Wednesday. "I hope it inspires people to not hold yourself back just because you're scared of it or it is your first time doing it, or because of other people's negativity.

Policies like this will only be changed if enough women want it changed. I guess time will tell, but I have my doubts.

9.6 in 100 yds. Darned good!!!!

I did 10.8 for 100 yds, 52.8 for 440, HS in 1966.

Knees and stuff these days - kind of jog out to get the paper in the morning - 20 yds.

I am inspired! I'm going to go out right now and find someone significantly weaker than me and crush their dreams in humiliating fashion!

I think you meant to say “he’s stunning and brave”. That is always the correct response.

I actually only ran a 10.2 in high school. I was a bit of a late bloomer as I got a lot faster in college. I was a hurdler and it really strikes me that hurdling increases your sprint speed because it lengthens your stride.

We had one sprinter who officially only ran 9.3 (only?) but I saw him beat a world record holder in the 50 and do it fairly easily.

You would have killed me in the 440 but that is because I could not even hold up for the 220. By about 160 yards the bear would jump on my back.

Agreed. I’d love to hear Pickles Clinton’s opinion of this. I have a feeling she would publicly declare it to be wonderful, but privately hate it.

You should have ran against elementary school girls. You would have kicked their asses.

Back in my day a girl name Chi Cheng (not sure of spelling) from Taiwan ran a 9.9 100 yards. I don’t think any girl still runs much if any faster.

Forence Joiner had some pretty amazing long jumps but it is widely believed she took testosterone or something similar. I think she went over 24 feet. That is nothing compared to the men’s world record of over 30 but the long jump is one of those events where the difference between a very fine college guy and the world record are really great.

The beautiful blonde I ran against was actually fast enough to make me run all out but I guess if I was really trying I would have beaten her fairly bad.

Its even worse than that. The editorial board at the Hartford Courant thinks this is all just fine and dandy.

The feminists and the tranny crowd are on a collision course. It should be fun to watch.
