Following White House press secretary Sean Spicer’s comparison of Syrian President Bashar Assad and German Chancellor Adolf Hitler, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called for Spicer to be fired.
“Sean Spicer must be fired, and the President must immediately disavow his spokesman’s statements,” she continued. “Either he is speaking for the President, or the President should have known better than to hire him.”
During his daily press briefing Tuesday, Spicer said that, in contrast to Assad’s alleged use of chemical weapons last week, “you had someone as despicable as Hitler, who didn't even sink to using chemical weapons.”

You sound like the sports radio guys who played and when someone who hasn't played offers criticism they respond with, "how much did you play in x league?"
You don't have to be a player to know if someone's got "it" or not.
Spicer doesn't have "it".
The more I think about it, the more I’m upset about what Spicer said. My reason is different from the standard one. Sean Spicer was attempting to vilify Assad. He went way overboard. Assad protects Christians and minorities. To make a comparison and aver that Assad is worse than Hitler dismisses the slaughter non-muslims face at the hands of ISIS.
Nancy Pelosi must be ignored.

I read of a phenomenon which afflicted soldiers in WW1 gas attacks. I read that Hitler suffered this. Being blinded by the gas, it was a temporary blindness until proper rest and treatment. Some soldiers were so distraught, they became blind for a longer period. Said to be psychological. The serial killer Reginald Christy hanged 1948 in England had this problem.
Once again I wince at the apologies by Sean Spicer. It bought the politically correct scumbags circling like sharks in the water. If only,if only, he could have just told them. "My opinion, do your worst." I ask rhetorically.

The governor of California my home state gassed people, too, when death by cyanide was the then form of capital punishment. And a delousing agent (Zyklon B) wasn't used. Now chemical injection is used.
One cannot conflate chemical weapons and other uses of chemical agents. It is not truthful.
Nah. I think Hank Johnson should be the first. I don't think I've heard anything more stupid coming out of anyone's mouth. He, to me, takes the cake.
