Sorry, were having a problem with google and firefox erroneously reporting our secure server as not secure. It is secure.
Heres a copy of a post I made a couple days ago explaining the issue:
Its a fake message by Google. Or misleading anyway. Our industry standard SHA-1 security certificate is paid-up, enforce and still valid and our secure server is still encrypting our donations just as securely as it always has for the last 15 or so years that weve been running it. Google, and now Firefox following their lead, has decided to deprecate their support for SHA-1 in favor of SHA-2 encryption. Apparently, they employed some supercomputers and after two years and millions and millions of attempts, finally managed to force through a suspicious encryption on SHA-1.
Announcing the first SHA1 collision

But, other than that, our SHA-1 server is still valid and still secure.
That said, John will be upgrading to the new SHA-2 method, but there are some tricky systems level issues that he has to work out first. He was hoping to get it done before the 1st, but didnt make it. Hopefully itll be done soon.
In the meantime, you can click on the ADVANCED link at the bottom of Googles erroneous, misleading not secure message and continue to our secure server anyway, if you wish. Or if youre on Windows 10, try opening our secure server donate link with the default Windows 10 browser, Edge, which still works perfectly fine without the erroneous message.
Thank you very much,
Jim
The goal was to return the nation to the Constitutional Representative Republic our nation was intended to be. Our Constitution is there for a reason, and we should respect and adhere to it.
We are experiencing the affects of an administration that will go on record with Ronald Reagan’s as one of only two administration’s to help us realize Jim’s and therefore our goal.
We are here because we believe in Jim’s goal, Ronald Reagan’s, and Donald Trump’s. Ronald Reagan became our visionary, returning the nation to it’s correct path. In his day he did the best he could. Trump went to school on Reagan. He agreed with his mindset, principles, and goals, but where Reagan didn’t have a relatively recent like minded champion, Trump did.
Trump learned the lesson of having to do things in such a way as to prevent simple deconstruction of the wholesome gains of a single or double presidential term.
We are alive today, at a time when our nation is experiencing a rebirth.
Future citizens of our nation and scholars around the world will reference this time for 100 years... probably much more.
Trump has installed his first SCOTUS appointee. There will be two to four more. This will go a long way to ensure our nation rests on solid ground.
His deconstruction of the swamp will help. The legislation he will pass with our Congress will.
Our Military will advance. Black projects we are unaware of will prosper enabling the U. S. to prevail long into the future.
Our nation is entering the most important shoring up of our foundation since our Founding.
If folks reading this are prayer minded, I hope they will pray for Trump and his team, their efforts on behalf of our nation.
This is the time to be on our toes, helping guide Trump’s team down the straight and narrow, but I want to make one thing clear.
We would not be here without the clarity and insight of one man. Donald Trump got us here, and whatever happens will happen because he got this ball rolling, and persevered.
We must dedicate ourselves to persevere with him, and plead with God to bless this effort.
So you haven’t taken time to talk to God for a while. It’s a good time to search our own souls folks.
There will be no better moment for a religious pit stop, rededicating ourselves for our families, friends, community, state, and nation.
It’s a great time to be alive. It’s a great time to say thank you to the Big Guy up above, for always looking out for us.
All good things come from God. What we are experiencing is a very good thing.
Jim..., thank you.
So..., much..., WINNING!
The rest will fall into place, but NOT losing the SCOTUS to Marxist Progressives for Generations to come will be President Trumps Legacy.
Like any other Republican President, he will screw up and piss off a bunch of FReepers, but don't lose sight of the fact that a Conservative leaning SCOTUS will help ensure our Children and Grandchildren will live their Lives in the America we all know and love. (or a close facsimile)...
God bless Trump and the USA.
Amen!
No question about that. I hope Trump is successful. So much is stacked against him. It’s almost mind boggling to imagine who would have gotten the nomination if not him. I mean, did Bush even place 2nd anywhere? It may have been Cruz.
Thanks Jim. Pledge to arrive in May for Thon
Amen Jim.
People are entitled to disagree with Trump. He is human, and like all humans, he will err and make mistakes from time to time. There can be no doubt that his heart is in the right place and he will get far more right than he will wrong.
The alternative doesn’t even bear thinking about. A president Hellary would have meant Gulags in this country and the end of the constitution.
And not just SCOTUS. The president will be appointing some judges to the federal bench as well. Not all judges are elected, some are appointed.
Trump seems to be focused on judges who will rule based on the LAW. Not preferred outcomes.
Sweet....very!
To repeat your closing:
God bless President Trump.
God bless America.
Thanks for the information Jim, that explains much.
Me too....pray for him and his family and their safety.
I didn't want to do a no Hillary vote nor a SCOTUS vote....I wanted to understand the man Trump if I was going to do more than vote for hi but support him as well. So I spent hours and hours of researching his own words throughout his life, his history and his overall life in general... and as much many prayers along the way, because I needed to know with certainty about who Trump is and about ‘for myself’...
In the interim I was posting on another site and left FR because I was angry and hurt ....but as that site it became more and more anti-Trump and people not voting at all....how could I stay there? So I was basically off all sites then.
It was truly sweet when I saw clearly for myself that Trump was every bit worthy of my vote AND my support...and also that I needed to return “home” to FR. The folks here welcomed me back, some with open arms, others not without having a few spoken words I was every bit deserving of....but even they warmed up pretty quickly. ..and time would do the rest in what only time can do...and it has.
Not sure why I thought to share this again....but it does explain why I often consider how close I came to missing all the joy and excitement of watching this great man be shaped and molded by God... into the President of this nation... as he is and who he will become while he walks this walk under God's umbrella and great care.....and because I remember the great loss of not being here with my friends.
AMEN
I did not accuse you of saying or posting anything wrong. I did say you must “man up” for whatever the truth of your words said.
I therefore have nothing for which to apologize.
I agree, ConservativeMind, it could have been the (continued) name calling.
Accusing CM and I of ‘controlling the mods’ is beyond absurd.
Maybe take a hint....the only one who owes an apology, here, is the one having posts pulled and CONTINUOUSLY calling other FReepers names.
