“And it assures them they can prod the US into attacking others. “
Of all the BS being spewed regarding President’s Trump decision to strike & destroy this single airfield this is the worst I’ve read thus far. To suggest ISIS can prod the US into attacking for their benefit is laughable at best.
To make such an assertion valid the Israelis would also be supporting ISIS since they agree President Trump’s surgical strike was the right response. Who in their right mind believes Israel supports actions that benefit ISIS?
Maybe there is. With the track record our government has had on this kind of nonsense over the last 50+ years, I don't know why anyone would assume that.
Well then we should have bombed the ISIS rebels also. I'm not convinced the wasn't a false flag event. Who benefited from this.
Have you ever heard of an ISIS attack in Israel?
There have been plenty of credible reports posted here on FreeRepublic in recent years about Israel's role in supporting various factions who are looking to undermine the Assad regime in Syria.
Who in their right mind would ever believe that a U.S. Senator pushing for U.S. military support for insurrectionists in a foreign country would be photographed with the U.S. ambassador to that country and a bunch of those insurrectionist leaders ... the year before that same ambassador was murdered by those rebels in an attack on the U.S. consulate?
Your TDS is so out of control you are no making any sense. I felt sorry for folks like you during the primaries because no matter how much BS you spewed Trump won anyway.
Seek treatment for your own good. Seriously.
These John McCain scumbags are probably a matter for law enforcement. As for Syria, the US Navy was unable to stop the base from functioning. A wise man knows his weakness as well as his strength, and therein lies the real danger to America’s security.

Yes, the world should take care of the problem, NOT US! We are not the world's policmen supposedly. There is no strategic interest for the US in this situation and Syria has not attacked us which would demand a response.
What does TDS have to do with John McCain, ISIS, Libya and the murder of the U.S. ambassador in Benghazi?
You're a one-note sycophant who sees TDS in every message you read here on FreeRepublic ... and you're telling ME to "seek treatment?" LMAO.
Over and out, dude.
“Over and out, dude.”
Hope you feel better asap. Have a very nice rest of the day.
I agree with you. Gassing yourself to make Syria look bad doesn’t seem like a viable strategy.
I dont like the strike, I dont like us getting involved, BUT, I dont see what Trump now sees. At this time, I will trust in his judgement, but I will be suspicious of all involved.
Most helpful. Powerful leadership is one thing. Moral leadership is fundamental. It appears Trump has not lost his way.
I don’t think the “Russian puppet” angle came into play here, but I definitely believe this was a calculated PR move first and foremost.
So, you're saying Trump is a sociopath?
I see people blaming this on either the Rebels or ISIS.
Do either of those groups have an Air Force that can drop Chemical Weapon Bombs?
As far as I know there are only three groups with Aircraft flying in Syria, the Russians, the Syrians and us.
Just askin’.
It does matter, but ultimately I have to ask what the hell are we doing this for in the first place? Taking the western world to the brink of WWIII with Russia and her allies because Muzzies are killing each other in ways that are “unacceptable”? Given what they do to each other, and Christians, on a daily basis, this is not even sane. Haven’t we learned by now that when evil peoples, who happen to be our enemies, are murdering each other the best response is to either step aside, or even better discreetly help both sides to do it more efficiently?
Well said
In the USA, the role of ‘unacceptable’ chemical weapons is emphasized. Is it seen that way by the ‘international community’, or do they see it as simply attacking an
‘oppressive’ government?
It matters because many nations see these buttinsky wars as precedents for the coming international invasion of Israel, and perhaps of the US itself.
