Syria is Russia’s #1 ally in the middle east, and has been for decades.

Only a moron would think attacking Assad would not result in a Russian response.

Trump is not a moron but he is acting like one. Here is hoping we don’t go WWIII. Not that I expect it.

No. Not at all. You speak out of a habit of trepidation. Why are we afraid of everybody else? Why aren't they afraid of us???????????????????

The “expert” doctor reporting on the gas incident is a terrorist from UK accused of kidnapping journalists.

And all over a bunch of muslims who will gladly cut your throat at the first opportunity. Why these people are chomping at the bit to get into a thermonuclear exchange with Russia is beyond me.

Russia has a history of not losing, ask Hitler and Napoleon how well things went.

Cooler heads need to prevail.

The moslems would like nothing better then to watch Russia and USA go to war. Right now only Russia resists their invasion of Christendom and the west. And A war would weaken USA even more then Obama did

Yes I was thinking about Poland and Hungary but thought it worthwhile to focus on the two big powerful countries the moslems wish to destroy the most. You’re right about Poland and Hungary of course. Thanks

And then Iran gets taken out as well as the “Arab Spring” marches on.

Four nations with histories of friendship to Russia (Libya, Egypt, Syria and Iran) were targeted in the “Arab Spring” plan.

Russia is being squeezed by the Corporatist-Uniparty elites of the US and UK, in concert with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey and Israel.

Arab $$$$$$ teaming up with US, UK and Israeli military technology.

Trump: What to do now I can’t repeal Obamacare. I know, let’s start a war with Russia!

Now he’ll have time to put another layer of tinfoil on his bunker.

LoL. We're nowhere near like it was in the old Cold War days. All this now is a big yawner remembering what it was like back then.

Hillary was advocating just last year having Syria "no-fly zones" which possibly meant shooting down Russian aircraft. Trump isn't looking for confrontations like Hellary.

F-22 Raptors maybe in the theater to give air superiority top cover if needed. They are likely stationed in the UAE where they have been recently stationed.

People keep asking “why was it bad when 0bama and Hillary wanted to bomb them and not when Trump does it?” Seriously? Do they see no difference at all between Trump and those two?

I wouldn’t want 0bama or Hillary painting my house and I’m pretty sure painting the house is a good thing. lol

"Buy some iodine just in case."

That's a great idea, especially for rural folks not far downwind of possible ground strike areas in two or three remote parts of the West.

There's some good info on preparations behind a couple of the links in comment #38 (especially the online book, _Nuclear War Survival Skills_).

Air bursts won't produce much fallout, but we should all be as prepared as possible.
