Damn you! Damn you for being correct!
I know!
Winning what?
It might take a while to process, but this was a good move by Trump. Every world leader was just put on notice..the first notice is the United States is not led by a globalist anymore..we dont wait for our friends to say Ok. We are also ready and willing to use our might for something besides an expensive dust collector.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
That’s exactly the way I look at this move by President Trump. After eight years of babbling bull sh*t by that freaking fraud, Trump has just put all allies and adversaries on notice that the cheap talk is OVER.
That's pretty funny!
For those who don't recognize my handle, I supported GWB's invasion of Iraq, but figured (and said) at the time, that the wisdom of it would probably not be known for 50 years. I gave the US too much credit for "sticking around," and with the benefit of hindsight, the move was unwise, and little doubt in my mind the move was at least in part motivated by personal revenge.
I don't have a similar "waffly" feeling about the strike Trump ordered today. It was timely, it was measured, it sends a message. Even if it was unwise, it won't, or itself, upend the course of events in Syria - unlike a decision to invade and kill the leadership.
Bit of good news as the night goes on.
We warned Russia of the strike ahead of time. There were NO casualties. We blew up an air strip and 14 planes.
Hope this is the end of the response and Trump satisfied the war mongers within his inner circle.
I am quite willing to see how this plays out. I just hope President Trump has the right intelligence on this.
Imagine Trump's reaction if he later finds out his own IC has misled him on this vitally important point.
Those who frame others in order to advance geopolitical goals better watch out.
Well, we know Trump didn’t satisfy the liberals/media, nevertrumpers, and concern trolls so same shit different day.
Reload....hit ‘em again!
I cant remember: did President Reagan declare War against Libya before he bombed them in 1986?
Indeed, when Franklin D. Roosevelt declared war on Japan after the 1941 Pearl Harbor attacks, it signified the last time the U.S. has officially declared war.
So, frankly, I don't see anything too controversial here, as far as suggesting a declaration of War. Congress has essentially ceded such power to the President under the provisions of the War Powers Act, and various other formal and practical measures...
ISIS doesn’t have an air force. Assad does.
We have eyes in the sky and witness accounts on the ground.
McMaster is Trump’s adviser. His book features the Gulf of Tonkin Incident- he and Trump are not doing a repeat of Lyndon Johnson and Robert McNamara.
They have sufficient proof that Assad dropped a chemical weapon. This was either a warning that the next round lands on him, or telling him to get the hell out and leave Syria to a successor. Russia agreed or this would not have gone smoothly.
Netanyahu’s response:

Good analogy.
No kidding. What is your point?
And you see no problem with it. Unfortunately all too typical.
“We shall see but this was premature to say the least, and a mistake at best.”
Good grief. Give Trump some credit for having good intel.
Open source reports already tell that we know the chemical bomb came from a Syrian warplane. And we know what airbase. That is the base that was hit tonight.
This did more than warn Assad and punish him. North Korea and Iran now know that there will be no wasting time and endless debates, retribution will come swiftly and without warning if they do something stupid and evil. This can serve to slow down their desire to act up.
