The United States launched dozens of cruise missiles Thursday night at a Syrian airfield in response to what it believes was the Syrian government's use of banned chemical weapons blamed for having killed at least 100 people on Tuesday, U.S. military officials told NBC News.

One of the stupidest comments I have ever read on FR.
Congratulations.
We warned the Russians to leave the base before the attack, thank God.
If you'd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

“It seems to me that one way of looking at it is that he is merely honoring osamas red line - if WMD were used, there would be a response. Chemical despots.”
good point
Holly, they have the name of a Syrian general who ordered the attack. It’s been reported on Fox this morning. Sorry I don’t have the link at hand but it can’t be hard to find.
Since they have satellite imagery that shows that the attack originated from the place that we struck, there’s little doubt about that aspect. As to who gave the actual order....Assad obviously knew about it. This was use of weapons of mass destruction as we’ve seen. To my seeing, there is little doubt that Assad was at minimum in the loop.
Whether Russia or Iran were involved, is anybody’s guess. Still, the response was appropriate.
Using the MSM as a source of information is not convincing to me. If I hear or see a quote of the general who ordered this - then maybe so.
In the mean time, I don’t believe it. Especially if McCain is supporting and in Trump’s ear.
Very well then. I’ll leave you with your disappointment.
