Agreed. That is why I think it is extremely important that thinking people question, research, and *Shock* not necessarily believe everything their elected officials say or follow in lock-step their favored leader. This is what Bush and especially Obama voters did—cult of personality. That is how we got in the mess were were in until 2017.
