Mr. Rickles will be missed. Wish I had written him a fan letter. Hilarious as CPO Sharkey.
Don Rickles was also close friends with Don Adams. There are some priceless vids of them together on youtube.
This hockey puck bids him Godspeed.

Doesn’t seem like it, but Kinison’s been gone for 25 years. 35 years for John Belushi.

Thanks for the laughs Don, RIP.

A few months back I came upon this from George Burns' comedy anthology series in '85. Don Rickles as the mayor of a town that fakes an earthquake in order to get federal disaster money. Add in Don Knotts and directed by John Landis and it's utter hilarity!

Pretty much only leaves Tim Conway, Bob Newhart, and Carol Burnett from that era of comedians...I’m sure I missed a few others, but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Yeah, he was the last guy on earth to be able to say something like that without a huge backlash.
Was it because he could poke at his own jewish self too?
I don’t know, but the guy was a laugh riot to someone like me who despises PC.

Ah, the good old days, when bankers were Republicans instead of crony capitalists supporting the fascist authoritarians.

I loved the one he did with Dean Martin as the drunk airline pilot.
