Reports say a new chemical attack has been carried out in Syria, this time on a village in the northern area of Hama, various sources said on Thursday.

Syrian President Bashar Assad's helicopters reportedly dropped barrel bombs filled with chlorine on the village of Al-Lataminah. Yellow clouds were reportedly sighted over the village.

The Time article that came online about an hour ago says that about 70 diplomats are right now meeting in Brussels - some big preplanned “donors conference” for Syria brooha. Has Assad lost control? or lost his everlovin mind? because somethings completely wonky

Hmmmmmmmmm.......
Assad and Russia stand in the way of the Saudi pipeline. The “rebels” were already being beaten back by Assad and the Russians.

The Rebels are composed of ISIS fighters who are desperate and have staged video of attacks like this before.

Who stands to gain from a chemical attack? Hmmmm...

My guess: False flag to try to derail support for Assad. I despise the man, but he had no reason to do this, while his opposition can expect a big win from killing their own children.

My guess: Occam’s Razor. Assad and Putin are just being the mass murdering thugs they are. Nothing complicated about this.

Rational thought on the part of the Syrian military must be discounted

What could be more demoralizing to the foes of assad than to realize he can murder them with impunity? assad and putin know they’re many defenders who will support them and whatever means they use to attack civilians to intimidate them in to submission. assad uses terror and fear for the same reasons Lenin, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Ho, Castro, and putin use it. It isn’t something that makes sense to sensible people. It’s something that scares people in to submission.

As bad as this is, the United States should not get involved. We need to be out of the Middle East. We have enough on our plate. Let Mr. Putin deal with Assad and ISIS.

Assad’s family has a history of genocide in Syria, but it’s highly unlikely he had anything to do with this. After all, he’s pals with putin, who everyone knows is a paladin of Christianity, like Assad. putin was just a poor boy from the small Russian village of Leningrad forced to become a KGB Colonel; it’s highly naïve to think he’d use terror or associate with those who do to destroy his enemies.

War Criminal Assad benefits by killing large numbers of civilians in the most terrible way to satisfy the blood lust his supporters, that he killed as many of their enemies as possible while he still coud and thus retain power.

Now you’re over the target. But don’t expect our local Putinists to buy a clue. We have our first Trump or Putin fork in the road and naturally they stand with the mass murdering KGB filth. It’s clear now they hate America ever bit as much as America blaming leftists. Peas in the pod, IMO.

The most demoralizing thing that could happen to Assads foes is that the West stops trying to overthrow Assad, works with Russia to clean out ISIS and Al Qaeda and clears the path for future government reforms via elections

Gee all of that was starting to happen ...

Israel is not working behind the scenes here, they prefer (Syria) Assad the Butcher, (Hizbollah) Nasrallah the Butcher and (Russia) Putin the Butcher to the more radical Muslims nut jobs. Either way, Israel/USA/West lose.
