I assumed the story was being presented as evidence AGAINST the idiotic warming claims of today.
If the Mayans wilted under the heat a thousand years ago, it surely couldn’t have been my three all-wheel drive vehicles that caused the problem.
Recently I read a history of the Indian tribes in my home area, scholarly but very readable, and the author pointed to the same kind of terrific heat wave about five hundred years ago...said tribes migrated north from present-day Mexico all the way to and beyond the Canadian border, in search of food and water.
The heatwave and drought lasted many years...again, it sure as hell wasn’t coal or oil that brought that one about...
No factories or cars, what caused that “global warming?” Likewise, what happened to the last ice age since there was no man made carbons being poured into the atmosphere?
Such advanced machinery ... all without the invention of the wheel ...
I am sure it was all the old clunkers they were driving around those days, and I bet their airconditioners were all running R13 freon.
So global warming was occurring before there was any industrial output which means that it is a NATURALLY OCCURRING PHENOMENON !
